Founding Members beta terms
These terms supplement our standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the period that Collectivus is in beta, They apply to anyone whose Organization is stamped with a beta cohort label (visible on the Founding Members banner inside /app). Plain-language summary: it's an invite-only beta, things may change, you get a 30-day trial at standard pricing once approved, and we'll be loud about migrations that affect your data.
1, What 'beta' means here
Collectivus is in a Founding Members beta. By accepting these terms at checkout you acknowledge that the service is provided on an 'as is' basis during the beta period.
Features may change without notice. Some functionality may be incomplete, in active development, or temporarily disabled while we ship.
Uptime is best-effort during the beta. We will not commit to a formal SLA, response-time, or recovery-time objective until we declare the platform generally available (GA).
2, Invite-only access
Founding Members is invite-only. Access is granted by application: you submit a short application at /apply, we review every application by hand, and approved applicants receive a personal invite link to set up their collective.
Approval is at our discretion and not guaranteed. We aim to respond within a few business days. Applications that are not selected may be reconsidered for a future wave; we do not maintain a public waiting list with guaranteed ordering.
Invite links are tied to the applicant's email address and expire 14 days after they are issued. If a link expires before you use it, contact us and we will issue a fresh one.
The value of being a Founding Member is direct access to the founders and our engineering team, influence on the product roadmap, and a hands-on onboarding. Standard Collectivus pricing applies, there is no public Founding Members discount.
3, Trial period
Approved applicants get a free trial (length shown at checkout, currently 30 days) with a card on file. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial with no charge.
4, Data, credentials, and tools
When you connect tools (email. CRM, calendar, etc.) you authorize Collectivus and the bundled Liam worker to act on your behalf for the workflows you configure.
We treat your data and access tokens as confidential. We do not sell your data. We may aggregate non-identifiable usage telemetry to improve the product.
Beta participants may experience accelerated schema changes. We will provide reasonable notice for migrations that affect your data and we will not delete customer data without notice during the beta.
5, Acceptable use during the beta
You agree not to use Collectivus to send spam, run brute-force credential attacks, scrape third parties in violation of their terms, or generate content that is illegal in the United States.
You agree to report bugs and security issues you discover, in good faith, to admin@collectivus.ai before publicly disclosing them.
6, Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from /app/billing. We may terminate beta access at our discretion if the service is misused or if a regulatory or security incident requires it; in that case we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
We may end the beta program and migrate participants to GA pricing with at least 30 days' written notice.
7, Liability during the beta
To the extent permitted by law. Collectivus's aggregate liability arising out of the beta service is limited to amounts actually paid by you to Collectivus in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement during the beta.
